Surviving Game Day

Arrive half an hour before the game.
Ensure you have swimmers, mouthguard, sunscreen, towel, water bottle;
Ensure finger nails are cut short AND all jewellery is removed;
If you are unable to attend your game or training please contact your Manager.
 Each club brings a set of caps and a game ball to the pool each week
The Manager of the team who plays the first game will be responsible for ensuring balls and caps are
brought to the pool.
Each player is to choose a cap number that they would like for the whole season. Some players will
already have their favoured numbers.
The Manager will collect the Score Card from the Officials Table prior to the game.
Each child name and number is written on the card and signed by the player.
Each team is required by BWPI to provide a Table Official for each game. A BWPI member will be at the
pool for the first couple of weeks to up]skill families on how to fulfill this role.
Your coach will encourage the stronger players to stay and play another game.
Please make your child available if possible, particularly the U 13fs age groups as historically our 14fs
team is complemented by our 13fs players.
Enjoy the games. Support your child whatever the outcome.
Water Polo stands for fun, skills and fitness.
Players must be a financial member of the club before entering the water.
It is recommended that mouth guards are worn although are not compulsory.
