The Polo Bears are based at the Albany Creek Leisure Centre and our teams train here and also at the Craigslea State High School Pool.
North Brisbane Polo Bears was formed in 1996 and continues today as a family orientated, friendly club based on the north side of Brisbane. We love waterpolo and providing a fantastic environment to enjoy the sport, and to reach your full potential.
The club offers Junior Competition for U12 – U18 age groups and last year we established our Premier League Team's, with the women's team winning gold two years running!
Players are offered the opportunity to be involved in Club, State and National competitions, with members achieving great success at state and national levels.
The 2021/2022 Junior and A grade competition has been completed and what a wonderful season it was - congratulations to all our teams who performed so well, with over half of our teams making it to the finals rounds.
In relation to next season (2022/2023), we will be keeping you well updated through our website and socials. Information will be provided in relation to our winter training for Term 3 and for any winter season waterpolo opportunities as soon as they are available.
For information, all junior games are played on Saturdays. Game day pool venues include Valley Pool, Somerville, Stuartholme,
Marist, All Hallow’s and St Rita’s, and our registration includes all insurances and affiliations, all training sessions and the
supply of equipment needed, e.g. caps and balls. Season fees include pool entry for players and spectators to all training
sessions and game day venues.
