2021 - 2022

The Polo Bears are based at the Albany Creek Leisure Centre and our teams train here and also at the Craigslea State High School Pool.

North Brisbane Polo Bears was formed in 1996 and continues today as a family orientated, friendly club based on the north side of Brisbane. Polo Bears are proudly affiliated with the Thunder National League Water Polo Team.

The club offers Junior Competition for U12 – U18 age groups and last year we established a Women's Premier League Team, Gold medal winners.

Players are offered the opportunity to be involved in Club, State and National competitions, with members achieving great success at state and national levels. 

The 2021/2022 Junior and A grade competition will run for a total of 16 weeks as follows: Saturday 9 October - 27 November 2021, with a break for summer holidays and then recommence from Saturday 29 January - 19 March 2022.  Finals and Semi-Finals will be on the 12 and 19 March 2022.

All Junior games are played on Saturdays. Game day pool venues include Valley Pool, Somerville, Stuartholme, Marist, All Hallow’s and St Rita’s.

Covid procedures are in-place for the venues and the information for these can be found online  at the BWPI website https://www.revolutionise.com.au/bwpi/venue_info/.

Our registration includes all insurances and affiliations, all training sessions and the supply of equipment needed, e.g. caps and balls. Season fees include pool entry for players and spectators to all training sessions and game day venues.
